Hi!
Today I'm sharing a card made with So Suzy Stamp of the Month Club September Stamp! This stamp is so fun, I decided I would turn it into a wreath.
I started with an A7 Kraft card, and cut a window out with a stitched circle die. I stamped the Coral stamp in Versa Mark using my Mini-Mist and embossed it in Nuvo Embossing Powder in Cool Jade. I stamped the So Suzy Let Your Dreams Set Sail Sentiment in Nuvo Embossing Powder Crimson. I covered the window with a piece of vellum with a starfish paper scrap. I finished it off with a few sequins for some color.
The stamps and embossing powder are available at www.sosuzystamps.com If anything is out of stock, be sure to sign up to be notified when it becomes available. I promise, Suzanne is so good about letting you know the moment it comes in! Wonderful customer service is her trademark!

Hi! It's release day for the September Stamp of the Month at So Suzy Stamps! I love this one! In fact I love it so much I got carried away and made SEVERAL variations . I got my hands on some of the new Nuvo Embossing Powder and Glitter Drops, so what's a girl to do? I made all cards in A2 size paper, and ran the colored paper through my My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle die cut. I stamped the September Stamp of the Month Coral Stamp in Versa Mark for the embossed images and in Memento Grey for the Nuvo Crystal Drops. The embossed images certainly looked the sharpest, but honestly, the texture of the Crystal Drops was very realistic looking! Colors I used for the Crystal Drops were; Gloss Ripened Pumpkin, Blue Lagoon, Glitter Emerald City. Embossing powder colors were , Purple Haze Nuvo Embossing Powder Gold Enchantment Nuvo Glitter , Nuvo Silver Embossing Powder Blue Odyssey Nuvo Embossing Powder , WOW Copper Penney and Apricot Embossing powder.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi! I'm showing another card today I made with So Suzy Stamp of the Month August Stamp.
I took an A2 blue card base and added a piece of red cardstock, ran it through a Paper Studios Anchors Embossing folder, and used a MFT stitched rectangle die.
I stamped the sentiment in So Suzy Ink Bites in Celestial Sky, part of the Peacock Plumes collection, on a piece of white cardstock.
I had some nautical-themed paper and cut some diamond shapes with a punch I had on hand, folded them in half and threaded them onto some red and white twine.
Come join us at the SAM Club! It is SO much better than the big box store with the same initials! All of Suzy's stamps are made in the USA! You won't regret it!

Hi! Here's another card made with the July 2016 SAM Stamp!
This stamp got me thinking about my own inner compass - namely that I want to be sure I am true to myself. I enjoy being able to purchase things from local business owners and/or people who are trying to supplement their income by selling specialty products that I can purchase from the comfort of my own home. I like to support our local economy!
So Suzy Stamps are not only local, but they are made in the USA!!! As a consumer, that is important to me! OK, I will climb down off of my soap box and tell you how I made this card.

- The stamp, of course is from the July SAM collection. If you haven't joined yet, be sure to sign up!
- My base is an A2 size blue card. I had some nautical paper and cut two pieces with my Lawn Fawn Ocean Wave borders.
- Using my Mini Mist, I stamped the Compass Stamp on a white circle using So Suzy Ink Bites in Simply Sinful, from the Autumn Equinox collection. I know I have said time and time again how much I love these inks, but it bears repeating!!! I cleaned the stamp off and re-inked with Versa Mark, and embossed it with Nuvo Crystal Clear Embossing Powder. I love the way these embossing powders perform!
- I cut a circle from some window plastic, and made a shaker frame, filling it with some sequins from 28 Lilac Lane Adventures at Sea.
- Using my Mini Mist, I stamped the sentiment from Sherry Russ Stamplorations True North Collection with Versa Mark and embossed it with Nuvo Gacier White Embossing Powder and hit it with my heat tool.
- I finished it off with a red, white and blue sequin.

Hi! Today's the release of July's great So Suzy Stamp of the Month release! I love all of these Coastal Themed Stamps and this month is no exception!
This Compass Stamp is great!
Here's how I made the card:
This Compass Stamp is great!
Here's how I made the card:
- I wanted a larger card than I normally make, so I started with an A7 card base.
- I had some paper that had an old world map that I thought lent itself to the theme I was going for.
- The compass makes me think of finding your way and navigation, SO I decided I wanted to have some stars. I made a background using my Clarity Brushes and my So Suzy Ink Bites. The color doesn't show up too well in the picture, so I included a picture of the paper before I cut it up. It is at the bottom of the page. I used Dew Drop and Thistle Thicket from the Highland Spring collection, Wave Whisper and Mermaid Mist from the Coastal Breeze collection, and Celestial Sky and Plum Passion from the Peacock Plumes Collection. I cut a piece off of the used a Star Punch that I had from Stampin Up.
- I wanted the stars to shine through, so I added some Zing Gold Embossing Powder to the top of the card base.
- I tore a piece of vellum to fit across the card, and embossed the Compass Stamp in the same Gold Powder. I cut a circle to frame it up with my MFT Die Namics Stitched Circle Stack Steel Die.
That's my card - hope you like it!

Long Time No Sea!!!!
Happy Sunday everyone! I'm enjoying this stamp for the April Release at So Suzy Stamp of the Month Club.
Everyone has been making such great cards with this stamp!
One of the perks of being near the So Suzy Shop (other than getting to see SUZANNE in person!!!) is that she brought in one of her design team members Monica Taylor to share some of her techniques at a workshop. I wanted to use the April stamp to make one of the cards Monica demonstrated during the class. This is my first attempt:
I stamped the image on buff cardstock using Mementos Rich Cocoa. I was going for a vintage old fashioned post card kind of look, I took my Clarity brush and swiped it over some of my So Suzy Ink Bites (have I mentioned how much I love these inks!!!!!), wiped the brush on a paper towel to get rid of most of the color, and painted a little bit of Simply Sinful to the chair, some Wave Whisper to the water, a little hint of Mellow Mint on the palm leaves, added a few strokes of Rum Runner (because I love the name mainly) around a little, and finished the sun with some Sunflower Sue. The paper is Graphic 45, By The Sea Collection. The idea of a Passport card (my interpretation of Monica's explanation) is to layer on things until you get it to look the way you want. I added a tab so you can turn the page, and glued some sea shells on to go with the sea theme. The tag was cut from buff cardstock with a punch I have had for a while. I inked the edges of the torn paper with my Rum Runner Ink Bite and glued them on the paper with some Tombow adhesive, and used my brayer to get the excess adhesive off.
It was a fun card to make! Are you a member of the So Suzy Stamp a Month Club? I have seen a "sneaky peak" at some of the upcoming stamps. You will love them!!! If you aren't a member yet, don't wait! Head on over to So Suzy Stamp of the Month Club today and sign up! Thanks for stopping by!

I love The sentiment on this month's stamp! March might have come in like a lamb, but it certainly went out like a LION in our neck of the woods!! Sometimes living in a land-locked state makes me want to head for the water. I think this stamp says it perfectly! Suzy's stamps are the best! Can't you just imagine yourself sitting in that chair watching the waves?
I stamped the image on PrimaWatercolor paper in Versa Mark and embossed it with black embossing powder. I pulled out my watercolors and gave it some color. The background paper is Graphic 45, and the edges of the paper were inked with So Suzy's Ink Bites in Wave Whisper. I can't say enough about those inks! I love having such a variety of colors available to choose from, and they are so reasonably priced! I finished it with some Hemptique twine and a button I had in my stash. Don't wait, head on over to So Suzy Stamps and sign up for the Stamp a Month Club! The sea is calling.......

Don't you just love this month's Irish Proverb?
Suzy's Mermaid Ocean Stamp is one of the first stamps I purchased - I thought it went well with the SAM Going Coastal theme. I cut a piece of blue cardstock to A2 size, and stamped the Mermaid image twice with Suzy's Ink Bites in Wave Whisper. The frames were cut with My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Dies and the sentiment was stamped with Suzy's Ink Bites in Mango Marmalade. If you haven't tried these Ink Bites, you don't know what you are missing! There are so many colors, and I love having them all at my fingertips! I don't have to search for the right ink for my projects! I added some Sunset Orange Double Click Skittles to finish the card. Don't you just love skittles! They finish things off nicely I believe! The paper is Graphic 45. You can find these stamps and accessories at So Suzy's Online Store!

Welcome to the 2016 Design Team Cage Match! It's kind of hard making cards with boxing gloves on, but when Suzy says hop, we do! Be sure to vote on your favorite card! There will be two winners for this cage match.
I love the vintage-looking inkwell stamp from So Suzy Stamps. I thought it would pair well with the new Graphic 45 paper, Communique Collection - the papers I used were Postage and Pen in Hand. I cut the frame in patterned black paper using the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackable, and stamped the inkwell on cream cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. The embellishments are from Artc Embellishments and The Paper Studio. I stamped the inside with So Suzy's Stardust dancing sentiment in So Suzy's Egyptian Sand.
Be sure to vote for your favorite card! The winners will be announced on March 6 on the So Suzy Stamps Blog.
Martha's blog is next. so please be sure to head on over - Thanks for stopping by - be sure to vote!

Hi! This month is our fearless leader - the creative genius behind So Suzy Stamps - the one - the only Suzanne's birthday! In honor of this momentous occasion, she included this cute shell as a bonus stamp in the February Stamp A Month Club Release!
I cut an A2 card from blue cardstock. I made a background on watercolor paper using Ken Oliver Crafts Colorburst in Ultramarine Blue, Violet and a small bit of Pthalo Green, misted it with water and dried it with a heat tool, I used my Mini Misti and stamped a fish from So Suzy Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black, and re-stamped it with Versa Mark, heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I stamped the shells in So Suzy Ink Bits in Royal Phineas from the Peacock Plumes Collection, re-stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with Zing Blue Glitter Embossing powder. The frame was cut with a MFT Stamps Pierced Square Stax die namics. I cut the banner from blue cardstock, and used So Suzy's I'm Feeling Beachy stamp to finish the card. Everything was attached with 3-M foam tape.
All of the materials used to create the card can be found at Suzy's online store! Be sure to sign up for the Stamp a Month Club if you haven't already!

February 2016 Stamp A Month
Hi! Today is début day for So Suzy's Stamps Stamp A Month Club February stamp. I am in love with this antique looking Captain's Desk stamp! It is sometimes a challenge for me to make a "manly" card for the guys I have on my list, but I will be using this stamp as my new go to!
I used Graphic 45 By the Sea Collection, Pier 45 paper for the background and frame. I used My Favorite Things Die-Namics Rectangle Stitched Dies for the frame, and stamped the Captain's Desk in Memento Ink, Rich Cocoa. I used foam tape to give the frame some dimension, and finished it with a piece of twine.
Head on over to So Suzy's Stamps and check the blog so see what awesome things that were created! If you haven't already done so, be sure to sign up for the second quarter Stamp A Month Club!

I was putting away the last of my Holiday decorations and wanted to find an appropriate wreath to put on my front door. I thought that a flip flop wreath would be fun, but I don't have one, so I decided that I would create one - in card size anyway! All supplies can be found at So Suzy Stamps!
I stamped the flip flops using Memento Ink in Black Tuxedo, and colored them with my copic markers. I used So Suzy's Starfish Stamp to add a little color, stamping them with Memento Ink in Angel Pink, colored with copic markers, and embossed with Zing clear embossing powder. Fussy cutting was a little tricky - I think I need to invest in a Brother Scan n Cut. I finished it off with some cute Studio Calico Adhesive gems that were new to Suzanne's Shop, and a bow I had in my stash.
Thanks for stopping by!
